Examec’s MD, Mats Ohlsson, invited to a government hearing on ESS.

The European Spallation Source (ESS) is a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), a multi-disciplinary research facility based on the world’s most powerful neutron source, situated in Lund, Sweden.  The unique capabilities of this new facility will both greatly exceed and complement those of today’s leading neutron sources, enabling new opportunities for researchers across the spectrum of scientific discovery, including life sciences, energy, environmental technology, cultural heritage and fundamental physics.

The Swedish minister for research and higher education, Helene Hellmark Knutsson is inviting among others, Mats Ohlsson from Examec to a hearing about ESS and its environment of knowledge and innovation. The purpose of the hearing is to gather views on how authorities, academies and companies can contribute to a successful environment for the research facilitiy.

The hearing will be held on April 26 at the Rosenbad Conference Center in Stockholm.
